JAMON R. PRUITT, MD, FACC is an invasive/non-invasive cardiologist with subspecialty expertise in non-invasive imaging. His training focused on echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.

  After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in zoology from the University of Arkansas, Dr. Pruitt served a year in the Army as a Signal Corps officer. He attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where he earned his medical degree in 1992 and completed his residency in internal medicine. Dr. Pruitt attended the University of Louisville, where he completed his fellowship in cardiology. His particular interest is in the treatment of congestive heart failure and in the diagnosis of ischemic cardiac disease through non-invasive methods. He also has special training in treatment and diagnosis of peripheral vascular disease. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology and nuclear cardiology. He is also a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology.
