Christina James, MNSc, APN, FNP-C
Christina James is an advanced practice nurse with interests in all areas of cardiology. Her training
includes managing hypertension, hyperlipidemia disorders and various cardiovascular problems.
She enjoys providing education for patients regarding their conditions, which include prevention,
risk factor and lifestyle modifications.
Christina earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and a Master's of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. During her graduate studies, she was awarded scholarships for her scholastic achievements. She also made the Dean’s List. Christina was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society in 2006 and is a member of the Gamma Xi Chapter. She is board certified through ANCC.
Her professional activities include: a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association. She has past nursing experience in critical care, family practice, and trauma/emergency nursing. She is certified in advanced cardiac life support with the American Heart Association. Christina works with Dr. Philip Riley.
